Google Earth Presentation Today!

Hello all!

If anyone is reading this right now then I am happy to announce that I will be presenting my Google Earth Analysis. Due to popular demand from one person(lol) I have decided to show a demo of StreetView. I hope I do not bore any one with my gobbldygook about satellite imagery. Please enjoy and I am looking forward to any comments or questions you may have for me at the end of my presentation! Wish me luck!

Your presentation was cool because I used Google Earth to find my house (like everyone else) and its incredible. I think its a good way for people to see what cities in other countries are like if they cannot afford the money to travel everywhere. I don't know if it is now a law, but I noticed taxi cabs are using gps systems also. So maybe I don't have to give them more money because they were lost...

Hello Sergey,
I thought your presentation on Google Earth was really interesting. It was interesting to learn about how dynamic Google Earth is with its many features and applications, such as Google Sky, its ability to display street level views, Google SketchUp, and so forth. Furthermore, it was also interesting to learn about the positive and negative views pertaining to Google Earth.

Hi Sergey,

I enjoyed your presentation on Google Earth. I've used the application a few times and had a field day with it. I like that it allows people to "travel" the world without having to leave home...although it would be nice to actually travel to those places. Also, I never knew about GoogleSky and how it provides a layout of the stars and planets. That's cool.

I did not know about the other functions that Google Earth offers such as GoodleSky or the StreetView, since I haven’t used Google earth for quite a while, but I might give it a try just to check out those features. The StreetView reminds me of what Photosynth tried to accomplish, namely allowing one to simulate his or hers own presence at a certain location, but I guess Google pushed it a step further, and used the idea to allow people to tour the city, and use this information for finding their directions.

hey sergey even though i missed ur presentation i did hear some of the info while i was outside in the hallway lol. i did use google earth once before and it did look interesting to view and handle.im pretty sure that ur presentation went well cause i heard there was alot of detail. google earth can give nice views from its satellite imagery but sometimes they are outdated.

google earth/maps is amazing. i didn't realize how essential it is to my life until i thought about it. i can't remember how i survived without google earth before it was put online. it was hard to carry a map around with obsolete and limited information. nowadays u can use it on your mobile phones and u have the whole world in the palm of your hands. great presentation dude.

It is a good presentation. I am a big fan of Google and I love their works, for example: Google library, Google Doc, Google earth ect… I already familiar with Google Earth and I look my country by 3D view, also I checked other cites in US. The history is good and it’s good to see how Google taking a pictures of streets. I know it help many people in good ways, but some people using this technology for bad thinks, for example: Terrorists Using Google Earth to Target Israel. Even though Google have 4 out of 5 C’s, but I am going to give a 5 stars.

Hello Sergey,
Look, whatever I’m going to say about your presentation it will not be only because you were my first presenter and I was the second in our presentation day. Your presentation was awesome. I really like Google earth and I used it many times I even had fun with it with family and friends locating different places we knew from before or visited sometimes. The way you explained the whole technicalities of how Google earth works and the technology behind it was also very informative and beneficial. I want you to keep up the great work and I can see the success in you from your great sense humor and nice personality. So keep up the great work. Good luck with everything.

The presentation was really interesting. It always amazes me how Google Earth can be so detail in images and that it will only get even more so. It was great to introduce the features of the GPS data, the Streetview/Sky/3D building, the Sketchup and among other things. These features are very cool and definitely help me not get lose in almost every street around the city since there are street images on most places since before I rely on hopstop.com since they also have streetview ones.
